Shape the Future at Wentworth Point High School
Wentworth Point High School is one of NSW's newest public high schools and one of the fastest growing schools in the state. Opening in 2025 with Year 7 students only, we will continue to add a new year group each year until becoming a full Years 7–12 school in 2030.
Joining our staff means becoming part of an exciting journey. Every year brings new opportunities to establish traditions, develop innovative programs and shape the culture of a school that is built on high expectations, strong relationships and a commitment to excellence.
Whether you are an early career teacher or an experienced educator, you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine and lasting contribution to our school community.
Why Join Wentworth Point High School
At Wentworth Point High School, we believe great schools are built by great people. We value staff who are collaborative, reflective and committed to continual growth.
Our staff enjoy opportunities to:
- Help shape the direction of a new and growing school
- Work in modern, purpose-built facilities
- Collaborate within a supportive and highly professional team
- Access high-quality professional learning and leadership opportunities
- Contribute to innovative teaching and learning practices from the ground up
Joining a growing school offers opportunities that are rarely available in established schools. As our school continues to expand, permanent teaching positions will become available across all faculty areas, creating regular opportunities for teachers seeking a new permanent appointment or a transfer.
-
Vacancies not filled through the new appointment or transfer process are advertised through the NSW Department of Education's merit selection process. Prospective applicants are encouraged to monitor JobFeed for current opportunities.
