Bell times
Our school day is structured around a clear timetable. We have set times for learning sessions, activities and lunch.
Understanding the bell times helps students get the most out of each part of the day.
It's important for students to arrive on time each day. If your child is running late, please contact our front office.
Our bell times
- Students are expected to arrive at school by 8:40 am
- Learning sessions will be 75 minutes in length, with Learning Session 1 being longer to allow time for the completion of student administration tasks.
- Given the layout of the school, transition times have been built into the timetable structure to allow time for students and staff to move between activities and to maximise learning time.
- Students will finish at 2:15 pm on Mondays, and 2:45 pm on Tuesdays.
- Monday morning will start with a whole-school assembly or year group meetings.
- All students will participate in sport on Tuesday. Year 7 will be in the morning, and Year 8 in the afternoon.
- The timetable will operate on a fortnightly 'Week A and B' structure.
