Our motto and values

Wentworth Point High School is a Year 7 to 12, comprehensive, coeducational secondary school in Wentworth Point. We are proud to be part of a strong public education system and welcome students from all backgrounds and cultures.

Our motto

Courage to Grow, Strength to Connect was shaped through consultation with students, families and staff. It captures what we want school to be: a place where students are supported to grow with confidence and connect with purpose.

Courage to Grow is about effort and resilience. We encourage students to take on challenges, take risks in their learning, and keep going when things are hard.

Strength to Connect is about relationships and service. It means building meaningful connections, looking out for others, and thinking critically and creatively to contribute to the wider community.

Our values

Our four values put the motto into practice. They shape the everyday habits and behaviours that help each student grow and help our whole community succeed.

Courage to Grow

Engage: We come to school ready to learn. Engaged students are present, equipped, safe and participating, and they put their energy into their learning.

Grow: We keep improving. Growth means applying effort, persisting when things are hard, using feedback, and believing we can get better with practice.

Strength to Connect

Connect: We build positive relationships. Connected students collaborate, show respect, include others and feel they belong.

Serve: We contribute to our community. Serving means being responsible, setting a good example, leading when it's needed and giving back.
