Why choose us?

Built on the banks of the Parramatta River, Wentworth Point High School opened its doors to its first cohort of Year 7 students in 2025.

Our six-level school sits at the heart of one of Sydney's fastest-growing communities, and it was purpose-built for the families who live here. As a new school, we are growing year by year alongside our students, and we are expected to welcome around 1530 students across Years 7 to 12.

What makes us different

A known and valued community. We hold high expectations for learning and behaviour within a supportive framework, so every student feels known, valued and cared for.

A school that reflects our community. Our students come from over 20 countries and speak more than 23 languages at home. This diversity is one of our greatest strengths, and we welcome students and families from all backgrounds and cultures.

Learning built around student interests. In Stage 5, students choose from a wide range of electives, from Design and Technology to Dance, Drama, Philosophy and Photography, Film and Digital Media. In our Year 7 and 8 Showcase program, students explore projects that spark their curiosity, including some that make use of our riverside location.

Modern, purpose-built facilities. Students learn in a new school with specialist spaces for practical and creative learning.

A strong public school partnership. We work closely with Wentworth Point Public School, our partner school, and with families across the local area.

Our motto and values

Courage to Grow, Strength to Connect guides everything we do. We support students to grow academically, socially and emotionally while building strong connections with their peers, staff, families and the wider community. (Read more about our motto and core values.)
