STYLISED ‘WPHS’ LOGO IMAGE
The stylised ‘W’ represents the shape of the Parramatta River at Wentworth Point as shown in the section image of the Parramatta River. It is also representing a stylised organic eel shape. The Parramatta River is derived from the Dharug word Barramada meaning ‘where the eels lie down’. The eel as a totem represents resilience.
The stylised ‘W’ morphs into an interlinking ‘P’ to represent Wentworth Point. The ‘H’ and ‘S’ flow from ‘WP’ to complete the initials of the school.
