The School Day

The School Day at Wentworth Point High School

• Students are expected to arrive at school by 8:40am
• Learning sessions will be 75 minutes in length, with Learning Session 1 being longer to allow time for the completion of student administration tasks.
• Given the layout of the school, transition times have been built into the timetable structure to allow time for students and staff to move between activities and to maximise learning time.
• Students will finish at 2:15pm on Mondays, and 2:45pm on Tuesdays.
• Monday morning will start with a whole-school assembly or year group meetings.
• All students will participate in sport on Tuesday afternoons.
• The timetable will operate on a fortnightly 'Week A and B' structure.
