All students in Years 7-10 in NSW Department of Education schools must be provided with opportunities to participate in 150 minutes of physical activity each week. This is provided through both weekly school sport and physically active lessons in PDHPE.
- Weekly sport at Wentworth Point HS is timetabled for Tuesday afternoon.
- Students may wear their sport uniform to school on this day.
- Sport will run from 1:00-2:45pm, though some students may leave for their venue between 12:30 and 1:00pm if they play Grade Sport.
- A range of sporting activities will be made available to students, including both Grade Sport (competing against other schools in the Northern Suburbs Zone) and Recreational Sport.
- Depending on the sport, there may be a cost involved to families to cover hiring of buses and venues. Grade sport students will need to bring their Opal Card every week. There will be a range of sports available with no cost.
- Students must pay for their sport prior to their participation in the sport.
